1984年毕业于河南农学院植保系获学士学位;2000年毕业于南京农业大学植物病理系获博士学位;1984-2001年, 河南农业大学植物病理学系助教、讲师和副教授;2001-2007年, 南京农业大学植物病理学系书记、副主任、副教授、教授、博士生导师;2003-2005年,英国杜伦大学传染病研究中心博士后高级访问学者;2006-2010年,第十二届国际植物病原细菌学委员会委员;2008年至今,上海交通大学农业与生物学院教授、博士生导师;2007-2009年,美国Cornell大学植病系客座教授,唐氏学者。主要从事分子植物病理学、植物-病原物互作功能基因组学、植物病害生物防治和植物抗病基因工程研究。先后完成国家973计划、863计划、国家自然科学基金以及其他省部级科研项目20余项,发表研究论文30余篇,其中SCI论文单篇影响因子6.2,获省部级科技进步二等奖两项、三等奖三项,获国家发明专利5项。

研究工作

以水稻黄单胞菌-水稻互作为工作系统,在基因组学、蛋白质组学和代谢组学水平上揭示植物病原菌的致病性和诱导抗病性、植物的抗病性和感病性、植物与病原菌互作过程中的识别、信号传递以及防卫与反防卫的分子机理,利用植物和病原菌来源的基因设计植物病害防治策略和技术等。
