中国科学院科技政策与管理科学研究所研究员（博士生导师），中科院政策所与中石油经济技术研究院共建能源与环境政策研究中心主任，所学术委员会副主任。
兼任中国科技大学管理学院教授（博士生导师）、中国科学院大学教授（博士生导师）、中国优选法统筹法与经济数学研究会副理事长、管理决策与信息系统专业委员会理事长、中国运筹学会常务理事、中国系统工程学会理事、中国现场统计学会理事、中国石油学会石油经济专业委员会副主任委员、资源与环境统计专业委员会常务理事、中国科学技术协会“减轻自然灾害第二届专家组”成员。
长期从事管理科学与系统工程的研究工作，研究领域包括能源经济学、能源金融、风险管理、复杂系统与复杂性等。在能源-环境-经济系统建模、预测与政策分析，能源市场模拟与风险管理，复杂系统分析与建模方法等方面开展了有价值的研究工作。2004-2005年在美国CORNELL大学访问研究。先后主持国家自然科学基金重点项目、重大国际合作项目、国家杰出青年科学基金、国家科技支撑计划等国家级科研任务，以及国家能源局、大型能源企业、金融机构等委托课题40余项，在国内外重要学术期刊发表学术论文150余篇，其中三大检索50余篇，编著8部。向中央和国务院提交了多份政策咨询报告并得到了采用。
获国家杰出青年科学基金，入选中国科学院“百人计划”和“新世纪百千万人才工程”国家级人选，获得“中国科学院第四届十大杰出妇女”提名奖和4项省部级自然科学奖或科学技术奖。
