Douglas Booth (born 1992 in London, England) is an English actor. Booth rose to prominence following his portrayl of Boy George in the BBC 2 television drama Worried About the Boy.[1] He has most recently appeared in Christopher and His Kind.
Education
Booth first attended Solefield School in Sevenoaks where he used to play the trumpet. He then attended Bennett Memorial Diocesan School in Tunbridge Wells and Lingfield Notre Dame School in Lingfield. He previously acted with the National Youth Music Theatre and National Youth Theatre.
Life and careerHe has modelled in several campaigns for the luxury English label Burberry,[2] including those alongside Emma Watson and Lily Donaldson. In November 2010 he appeared on the front cover of Gay Times magazine.
Personal life
His father is English and his mother is half Spanish, half Dutch.
